These criteria mean you will need 1,000 ug in 1,000 uL (1 milliliter of a 1 mg/ ml solution).

Using the equation C1V1 = C2V2, where C1 = 10 mg/ml, C2 = 1 mg/ml, V2 = 1 ml and V1 is the unknown:
1. Enter 10 in the Concentration (start) box and select the correct unit (mg/ml).
2. Enter 1 in the Concentration (final) box and select the correct unit (mg/ml).
3. Enter 1,000 in the Volume (final) box and select the correct unit (microliter).
4. Press calculate.
5. The 100 microliter (0.1 ml) answer appears in the Volume (start) box.
