Recombinant proteins are often produced in vitro with a small antigenic sequence to which an antibody can bind specifically. The most commonly used of these tag epitopes include polyhistidine tag, HA tag, c-myc tag, as well as proteins like GFP and GST.

Anti-tag antibodies are useful for applications including Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometric analysis, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation when working with tagged proteins. Our ReadyTag™ anti-tag antibodies are specifically formulated for in vivo use. They feature greater than 95% purity, ultra-low endotoxin levels, and are preservative, stabilizer, and carrier protein-free.
