The Prouty is northern New England’s largest family-friendly fundraising event. It combines cycling, walking, rowing, and golfing events to raise funds and awareness for life-saving cancer research and critical patient and family support services at Dartmouth Cancer Center. The Prouty started in 1982, after four nurses inspired by the courage of their patient, Audrey Prouty, cycled 100 miles through the White Mountains of New Hampshire in her honor. This became an annual event, and in 2021, The Prouty broke its own fundraising record and raised over $4 million! With only 24 days until the event, the Prouty has already raised more than $4 million, putting them halfway to their $8 million target.

Bio X Cell is deeply committed to supporting our neighboring communities in New Hampshire, and we’ve joined with Dartmouth Cancer Center to raise funds for life-saving cancer research and patient care. Klaus Lubbe, the founder of the company, holds the Prouty event close to his heart, cherishing the remarkable community spirit and volunteer participation it embodies. It serves as a poignant time of reflection for him, honoring the memory of friends and family affected by cancer. His involvement began over a decade ago, inspired by his attorney's memorial team for a lost loved one. Bio X Cell first participated in The Prouty in 2015 called the “Prouty Animals" and  raised $10,854! We have since expanded our efforts and were one of the top sponsor for the past few years and raised over $200,000 every year! 2024 markes our ninth year of fundraising for The Prouty and we’re aiming to make an even bigger impact!
